Polly Project

The Polly Project is merging with the Priscilla Project. Please visit the Priscilla Project page for more information.

What is changing?

Previously, the Priscilla Project served only pregnant refugee and immigrant women who are more comfortable communicating in a language other than English, whereas the Polly Project served pregnant women of any ethnicity, culture, or nationality who are fluent in English. As of January 1, 2018, these two maternal health mentoring programs will be one single program under the name the Priscilla Project.

Language and culture-matched doulas will still be provided through the program to both English-speaking and non-English-speaking women and all birth outcome goals will remain the same. All current Polly Project mentees will continue to receive the same services they had been receiving; the only change for them will be the name of the program.
